Select the units to calculate the dimensions of the hole. There is the option of mm and inches. These units are independent of the unit of measurement of the screw, i.e. you can select inches or a screw in metric size.

Get the pilot hole sizes for TAPTITE 2000®, REMFORM®, FASTITE® 2000™ and STRUX SM™.
This calculation will depend on your design and the mechanical requirements of the assembly. If required, our technicians can help you to determine the optimum diameter for your application.
From the available list, select the base material for your assembly. If you do not find your material, please contact our application engineers.
In the case of thin sheets, it will also be necessary to indicate the thickness of the sheet.
Especially for assemblies on metal, different types of holes can be considered: drilled, injected or extruded.
